It's frustrating that levels just abruptly stop once I reach the goal. I want be able to continue until I finish.

The game doesn't seem to be saving its progress - whenever I come back to it, my level progress is gone :\
It saves the progress within cookies of your browser. Check settings of your browser, maybe you are not saving cookies. Or maybe you've just cleared them.

It would be better if you didn't have to restart the game after you don't reach the target for a level - maybe if you just didn't proceed to the next level and only got a fraction of the gold that you earned for failed levels - say, 10-20%?
In light of that, it might be an idea to either reduce the inflation rate in the shop to maybe 1%? Or keep it at it's current levels, but eliminate inflation after failed levels.
Otherwise, it's a good, interesting game.
Thanks for your comments, inflation rate has been lowered to 2% instead of 5%

The questions were too americanised - other than the science ones, you'd really have to be american to know the answers. There are also some questions that have answers where the answers that are marked as correct are only correct in america, but not elsewhere.
Otherwise, seems like a decent game.

If I'm absolutely honest, when I first read the title "Music Catch 2", my immediate thoughts were "oh god, not another classic ruined by a crappy sequel"
This is far from just another crappy sequel though - it doesn't ruin the original, it builds upon it, using perfection as a starting point and getting better from there. I loved the first game, and this is just amazing. I find that playing music through this is even more enjoyable than listening to it straight out. Just a shame you can't use files from your computer.
The game really is the epitome of interactive art, it takes two art forms and fuses them together in such a beautiful way that's almost indescribable. This may sound mindless praising, but this game really is the purest, more beautiful game I've ever played.
Thanks for making it.
On a side note, some songs that work well with the game once you've unlocked the ability to play songs from a URL are Heart Of The Winter by Danman87, Eleanor Rigby (cover) by AlexSandford, Burden by Hania, and The Composer by Jazza.

Great game, almost perfect, ALTHOUGH
- The loading screen for tanks should have a search box
- You should be able to specify what you're saving (ie a bot, a level, a bot-part <such as tank-tracks>, etc.)
- A "Polygon" tool for nonspecific shapes.
- A tool for Tracks/elastic bands/etc. that would wrap to the wheels/shape/etc.
- The ability to take chunks out of a shape or assortment with other shapes. (ie this would allow you to easily make crescents)
- The ability to set the solidity of an object. (ie so you could make a shape as hard as a rock like they are now or as soft and malleable as a bubble)
Great game ^_^ 5/5 and 9/10.
good, but ...
... the notes you hit could have been synced with the music much better. If you follow the rhythm of the music, you'll miss almost every note.

would have been perfect if you'd allowed you to use the arrow keys as well, and been able to choose what you wanted the notes to be labelled as. (ie if you're playing with hjkl and want the notes to match up with what you're pressing, as opposed to asdf)
I agree; that was a bit of an oversight on our part. Definitely something we would include in a future revision or sequel though; thanks for the feedback!
Here be dragons.
A good and possibly enjoyable game, but you're given far too little time to at an enjoyable pace - and difficult to finish under the time limit even when you're rushing.
The low time limits completely ruined the game for me :\
