-The Cook Islands is a self-governing part of New Zealand
-The Ross Dependency is a territory of New Zealand, not a country.
-Antarctica is a continent, not a country
-it misses out Kurdistan, Holland, Sealand, A ton of Micronations, and possibly others.
-Trinidad and Tobago make up the same country.
-The independence of Northern Cyprus (or The Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus) from the rest of Cyprus is officially recognised by only one other country - Turkey.
-The Isle of Man (properly spelt as Mann, not Man) is a self governing part of the united kingdom - not a seperate country.
-The Northern Mariana Islands and Puerto Rico are self-governing parts of the US.
-Hong Kong is part of China, Previously a British Territory bought from China, and then part of China before that.
-The Faroe Islands and Greenland are currently Danish territories. (although Greenland is vouching for independence)
-The Aland islands are a finnish province.
-Aruba and The Netherlands Antilles are Dutch territories.
-Svalbard is a Norwegian province.
-Peter I Island and Queen Maud Land are Norwegian territories, not countries.
-The Virgin Islands are actually split into the British Virgin Islands (which is a british territory, not a country), and the U.S. Virgin Islands (which, once again, is a U.S. territory, not a country)

I'm not american, nor do I live in america, so I suppose I don't really have much say in the matter - but because the the British Labour Government is the US's lapdog and butt-buddy and the fact that I have friends in america, it does affect me.

Why, oh why are people still adamant that McCain will win? Even just judging by the fact that the elections between different democratic candidates were treated like "who's going to be the president?" as opposed to "who's going to represent the democratic party", it's obvious that McCain's not going to get in.

Let's look at the two, presidential candidates, shall we?

Obama:
- Is Anti-war.
- Is Equallist.
- Would be a milestone in american presidential history.
- Seems to be more open to superstitious swaying.
-- The fact that his surname rhymes with Osama is being used against him.
-- The fact that he bears some resemblance to a man predicted by Nostradamus to, basically, be a milestone in political history and bring world peace shortly after the turning of the millennium, after a long and pointless war is being used for him (although, not by him or his affiliates)
- has a good idea of the world within and without america.
- is well like by people outside america, and thus will bring much better foreign relations.

McCain on the other hand:
- Is pro-war
- Is a bigot
- Is pretty much just a clone of George W. Bush
- Barely has any idea of what the world is like outside america. (despite being in the military, which usually distorts a person's views as opposed to enhancing them)
- Is seen by people outside the US as a clone of George W. Bush, and not much liked either.

It's like trying to compare John Lennon or Wilfred Owen with Charles Manson or Jessie Pope.

Looking through my posts on the BBS, I've come to a conclusion.

Well done newgrounds, you've made a hippy pessimistic :|

I'd say less than half of all my posts on the bbs are made without a general feeling of disappointment in humanity.

Just a random thought, but something that annoys me about feminism: They'll go beyond common sense to prove their point. (same for masculinists, but feminists are less "ooh, look at the chest on that bitch" and more "THAT FILM HAS A FEMALE CHARACTER WHO DOES SOMETHING OTHER THAN STAND THERE OR PREACH FEMINISM, IT MUST BURN" )

for instance, the majority of the porn industry is run by women who preferred the industry to other industries, yet feminism still calls the porn and modeling industries pointless degradation of women. (despite the people doing it of their own will, despite the fact that there are male porn-stars as well, and despite the fact that there are many feminists (including, but not limited to, Kate Moss for instance) who are models themselves)

I was talking with one a while ago who said that we never have female leaders. "The Queen" - nope, she doesn't count apparently, because she wasn't voted in despite thousands of royalists having pledged allegiance to her. "Margaret Thatcher" - nope, she doesn't count since the person I was talking to didn't like her. Oh, sorry, I didn't know we were playing favourites. A leader's a leader, regardless of if they're good or bad, if they're male or female, or whether or not you happen to like them.

Something that has been sickening me for months - maybe even years - has been when that people claim to be something - anti-drugs, royalist, feminist, christian, etc. - that they're not, purely for reasons that involve either following that label because of the connotations involved, or because they were simply brought up to believe they were.

So you're anti-drugs? So you believe that, not only heroine, pot, cocaine, etc. should be banned, but painkillers, coffee, cough-medicine, lemsip, alcohol, perfume, nutmeg, aspirin, sleeping and laughing gas, and anesthetics should be banned and we should revert back to using witch-doctors to heal our wounds before they're burned at the stake?

So you're Anarchist? So you believe that the world would be perfect in a world where you could be looted, killed, attacked, mugged, etc. without any form of justice?

So you're Royalist? So you believe that you should be ruled by a single ruler (or couple of rulers) who dictate every little thing that you can do from whether or not you have to fight other people for pleasure to what time you can be outside your house based purely on the king and/or queen saying they were told by God to rule, regardless of if you actually believe in God or not?

So you're feminist? So you believe that, not only should women get equal rights, but women should get more rights than men, get paid more, and be treated better (which, by the way, did happen in the days of Chivalry, which Feminism killed) purely because a single factor of your life of which you can't control? Do you really want to go back base your political beliefs off of the chieftains and rulers of roman-europe?

Just because you reject heroine and all it's appliances because you had bad experiences with it (either directly or indirectly) doesn't instantly make you opposed to every single for of drug, no matter what, it just means you're anti-heroine. If you believe everyone should be treated equally regardless of gender, you don't instantly become a feminist, it just makes you an equallist. Just because you've bought a nightwish single doesn't suddenly make you a hardcore goth, it just means you've bought a nightwish single.

Please, learn what it is you're going to call yourself before you commit to it. Otherwise you could find yourself being thrown in jail simply for thinking extremist religion was a noble cause.

Does anyone notice a similarity in the songs I Should Have Known Better by The Beatles and Hold On by Green Day? Especially in the harmonica. Only just realised it because I was listening to my songs in iTunes and watching A Hard Day's Night (the movie) at the same time.

EDIT: The message says that it was fueling flaming and that I should read the BBS rules ... just went through the whole list and not a single rule there was broken in with the post.

The reason why fit people grow Man-Boobs is because the water filters that filter sewage water into drinking water don't filter out Estrogen, the female version of Testosterone, which is flushed down the toilet by women when they pee or have a period (from tampons). This has also caused the fish in various areas of water to completely switch genders. (ie going to sleep with a cock and waking up to find you have a fanny)
